Information on the PREFA solar roof panel

An essential component of the PREFA solar roof panel is the electricity producing PV module, consisting of solar glass, embedding material and film on the back of it.

Please note the following:

The glass component must be handled with care.
Do not bump into sharp edges with the lower edge of the solar roof panel.
Be careful when handling sharp tools such as snips, hammers, pliers, etc.
Store and secure solar panels and open units horizontally.
Transport units and solar panels carefully.
Fasten mounted solar roof panels immediately (risk of falling).
Protect solar panels and units from moisture, dust, and dirt.

NO crimping work on the roof is necessary!

String supply lines and discharges are pre-assembled ex works. The cable ends each have a PV plug or a PV socket,
which are protected by pre-assembled cover caps.

Connecting cables between the rows of solar roof panels are planned at the factory and manufactured on a building-related basis.

The plugs used on the PREFA solar roof panel and their connecting cables are protected against reverse polarity. The locking of the connectors prevents the contacts from loosening independently.

The PREFA solar roof is ready to plug in on delivery, thus making it easy to install.
